DIY Miss you card

Hello my fellow crafters! So sorry that I have been M.I.A. since the beginning of September. Having started Teacher's College has taken over my life so I haven't had time to post on here. Anyway, I'm going to be spending my time over the holidays posting ideas on here for you all! Hope you enjoy!

Today's idea is a card I made for a friend when she moved from Ottawa to Toronto to attend Teacher's College there. I found this idea online and decided to modify it a bit.

Things you will need:
-card stock in your preferred colors
-scrapbook paper scraps
-scissors
-sharpie
-string/ twine (optional)

Step 1:
First, you will want to fold the card stock in half. If you choose you can cut the card stock so that the corners are rounded.

Step 2:
Next you will want to draw silhouettes of owls. Cut them out and draw faces and wings on them. Then you can glue them onto the paper. If you would like you can use a string as a spot to place the owls. You can also chose to do something other than owls. It is entirely up to you. If you choose to do the string part, you will need to do this before the owls get glued on.

Step 3:
Next you will want to chose a font and draw the letters on the card. Then go over it with a sharpie. You can get sharpies in different colors from your local dollar store.

Step 4:
Next, write a message inside the card and let the glue on the owls dry. Voila! You have made your own card. Hope you have fun!

Happy Crafting!
